Biographical note

Dr. Kaja Tulatz defended her doctoral thesis, titled „Epistemologie als Reflexion wissenschaftlicher Praxen. Epistemische Räume im Ausgang von Gaston Bachelard, Louis Althusser und Joseph Rouse“ (Epis­temology as Reflection on Scientific Practices. Following Gaston Bachelard, Louis Althusser und Joseph Rouse on Epistemic Spaces), at Technische Universität Darmstadt in March 2017. Since August 2017 she has been a researcher at the Institute for Ethics and History of Medicine at Eberhard Karls University Tübingen, working on a project dealing with social philosophical and ethical aspects of obesity pre­vention. Previously, she was a researcher at the International Centre for Ethics in the Sciences and Humanities at the same University (7/2013-1/2015) and at Technische Universität Darmstadt (1/2016-9/2016). In Darmstadt she was also scholar at the Graduate School “Topology of Technology”(3/2010-2/2013). She earned a magister's degree in Philosophy and Political Sciences at Stuttgart University. For several years, Kaja Tulatz has been teaching social philosophy at the School of Social Work of Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Stuttgart

Biographical note

Since March 2015 Selma Kadi is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Ethics and History of Medicine. Previously, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the International Centre for Ethics in the Sciences and Humanities at Tübingen University (7/2013-1/2015), postgraduate research assistant at the School of Social Sciences and Law at Teesside University (4/2009-2/2011) and freelancer at the social science research and consulting institute abif (11/2003-9/2005).
